Creative Break Workshop with Beril Karakaya

CREATIVE BREAK WORKSHOPAn art workshop that is open to everyone — no artistic skills or experience needed! This is not a traditional art class — no techniques will be taught, and there’s no pressure to create something “beautiful.” Instead, the workshop consists of using simple, guided prompts to gently lead you into the creative process. By exploring a theme through colors, shapes, textures, and a variety of plastic arts materials, you’ll be encouraged to create freely and without judgment. There will also be an optional space to share and connect with others in a calm, respectful environment. The focus is on the experience of making art, and using creativity as a tool to ground yourself. This is a space to slow down, to take a mindful, restorative break from work, reconnect with your inner world, and build meaningful connections within the community. You’ll return to work feeling more relaxed, mentally clear, and creatively refreshed.BERIL KARAKAYA - Art TherapistBachelor’s degree in Psychology from Bilkent University (Türkiye) and a triple master’s diploma in Art Therapy, Theater Therapy, and Music Therapy from ISEP (Barcelona).Experienced as an art therapist working in clinical and socio-educational settings, including volunteer work supporting immigrants.
